Hello. I'm a film and TV editor, and a street photographer. I like to edit fun, challenging scripted and unscripted shows, such as Better Angels: The Gospel According to Tammy Faye, a four-part doc series from Director Dana Adam Shapiro (Murderball) and Executive Producer Sir Elton John. Better Angels premieres at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. Read more here about Better Angels on the Sundance website.
My other editorial credits include: the Emmy-nominated scripted TV dramedy Youth and Consequences (YouTube Red/Mark Gordon) for EP Blair Singer (Weeds); the feature documentary Kusama~Infinity (Magnolia Pictures) which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival; the PBS/Independent Lens feature film Limited Partnership which won the Humanitas Award from the International Documentary Association; the Emmy-nominated feature film A Small Act (HBO Documentary Films) which premiered at Sundance; Dear Mom, Love Cher (Lifetime TV movie); The Making of an Avant-Garde which premiered at the Museum of Modern Art; the feature documentary Tyrus, (PBS/American Masters) which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival; and the narrative film Six Letter Word which screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
I have a BA in English Literature from Grinnell College and a MFA in film directing from the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television. My UCLA thesis film The Confession won the Student Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
I'm also a writer. My screenplay Sugarland was a Nichols Semi-Finalist at AMPAS.
